We are a proactive and expert team, working in close loop with our customers in order to design and build the solutions which they need
We have a wide range of expertise and industrial facilities enabling to supply services such as:
- our integrated design office designs the molds taking into account the requirements and specificities of each of our customers
- manufacturing of the molds in our company - the proximity between design office and workshop is a guarantee of quality
- Our adjustment department allows us to support our customers up to the industrialization phase of our technical solutions
- we are also specialized in maintenance, repair and modification of existing molds
- we also use our machines for machining parts of all dimensions for unit production or small series
We have a wide range of technical capabilities enabling the manufacturing of molds and other metallic parts from several kg to more than 25 tons

COMPANY
Our plant is located at the junction of several motorways, about 40 km from Lyon and its international airport and railway stations.
The plant is less than 100 km from other big French cities, such as Grenoble and Saint-Etienne, and not so far from Switzerland (Geneva 200 km) and Italian boundaries (Torino 400 km).

Polaud establishments
In October 2022, Isère Mold Usinage acquired the Polaud establishments, located in the heart of the Rhône-Alpes region.
Created by Mr. Jean POLAUD in 1965 and with 40 years of experience, this company specializes in the machining of high-tech mechanical parts.
The merger of the two companies has allowed us to broaden our field of expertise: milling and turning of all types of steel, but also stainless steel, aluminum and other plastics, and this, in many areas (welding, polishing, heat treatments, cutting, etc.)
We remain focused on single parts manufacturing but can offer you advice and services in the fields of stamping tools, energy (turbine, valve, etc.), the food industry, prototype machines, textiles and many others by supporting us on a strong network of partners.
Our group is therefore able to meet all your machining needs.

April 2024: Isère Mold Usinage merge with Polaud and both companies move to our Saint-Jean de Soudain site with a view to a global industrial optimization project
With this transfer we plan to:
- improve production flows
- increase the surface area of the workshop in anticipation of future growth
- improve well being at work (showers, canteen, offices, etc.)
- improve the energy consumption thanks to better insulated premises and the installation of solar panels
Our new factory occupies an area of over 6,000 m2 in a 4-hectare ecosystem, designed to promote the well-being of our employees
